While it’s no replacement for in person gatherings, connecting virtually is a safe way to be social and creative with your guild.

Since the start of the pandemic, Emily has used her background in technology education to help over 1,000 people set up virtual sessions using Zoom. As the Events Chair of the Austin Modern Quilt Guild, Emily has helped AMQG get their monthly meetings, workshops, bees, board meetings, and sew-cial events online.

Emily is excited to support her fellow quilters and creatives in this difficult time by helping you set up virtual sessions for your guild. Learn how to run secure and efficient Zoom sessions that are fun for your members (and not stressful for your board!). Keep your guild connected, creative, and sewing together from the safety of home.

The Zoom Training for Quilt Guild includes:

  • Zoom orientation for guild leadership (up to 12 people)

  • Recommendations on how to set up your guild’s Zoom account that emphasize security & engagement

  • Tips and tricks to run smooth meetings & virtual Sew and Tell

  • Permanent access to updated training resources & a go-to tech person to help with your specific needs

  • Up to four hours of accessible tech training just for your guild to ensure your success

  • Cost: All the above and custom support for your guild for $350 USD

Optional Add-ons:

  • Virtual Quilting Bees and Sew-cial Sessions: set up fun and effective social sessions to keep guild members connected and stitching

  • Setting up Workshops and Guest Presenters: learn how to set up registration and best practices for supporting instructors and guest presenters

  • Cost: Add-ons cost $100 each, and are 2 hour trainings for up to 12 people
